It’s been a while since Mother Nature gave us good water conditions to fish and today was on! Awesome day at Jurassic today. The fish were on a good bite! Even found a lingcod. Good water and weather but tomorrow is blown out.
Happy New Year everyone! See you in April when our fishing season reopens.
December 18
Awesome Jurassic Park trip today. No lingcod but real good yellowtail bite with copper, greenspot, brown and widow rockfish.
December 7
Weather was okay but the fish didn’t want to bite with the king tide (low tide -1′ high tide +6′). We got fish, just not as many as we would have liked.
December 5
Awesome day at Jurassic Park today with limits of quality canary, greenspot, brown and red pacific snapper.
December 3
Jurassic Park today. Ran out to the deep and had some difficulty keeping the lines straight with the fast drift. Found some willing snapper then headed closer to shore for lingcod. Not a big catch today.
November 27
Jurassic Park today for rockcod and we hammered out nice big yellowtail, canary, and copper pacific snapper.
November 22
Water was not so nice today. Ran out to Jurassic Park and found a couple lings and some nice canary, yellowtail, and greenspot pacific snapper. bUmPy WaTeR today.
November 21
Jurassic Park again today but the weather changed up our game. We got some nice lingcod but the rockcod just wouldn’t bite.
November 20
Another great day out at Jurassic Park. Lingcod are biting! After our lingcod we went for snapper and nailed em. Crew made fresh ceviche with a few rockcod for the ride back to the harbor.
November 19
Smokin hot lingcod bite today and some nice fat ones too. Kept 12.
November 15
Lingcod fishing is very good now.
November 13
Another awesome day at Jurassic Park with calm seas and 14 lingcod!
November 12
Tuna trip today. After catching our live mackerel ran up to the fingers as far as the 25 line. Then trolled out another 10 miles, then back downhill for another 20 miles. No tuna caught on any of the boats in the tuna grounds. Water temps showing it might be too cold to hold fish. After a long day and 60+ miles of searching, this may have been our last tuna trip for the season.
November 11
Great time at Jurassic Park today. Lingcod are biting!
November 6
Awesome local potluck today with calm seas. Nice lingcod and pacific snapper today.
