(MEGA-BITE) Rockcod fishing was a bit on the slow side today but ended well with a fantastic Orca Whale show. Great time and some quality fish.

Jurassic again and wow! Limited out on lingcod right at the start then we went to work on catching canary, brown, vermilion and olive pacific snapper. Water was a bit chunky. The salmon bite is going real strong now too.
April 21
Jurassic Park trip today and what a great time and what a load of fish! Fish are biting as soon as your rig hits the bottom. Brought home 175 pounds of lingcod and brown, yellow-tail, canary, olive, and red pacific snapper to nine pounds and petrale sole! Weather was perfect. The salmon bite is red hot right now too.
April 17
Jurassic and salmon trip today and it was a long one! Filled the box with limits of lings and some BIG rockcod then switched over to salmon trolling. We spent a bit too much time on the rockcod and not enough on the salmon.
April 18
We hooked a good number of fish but only got a couple in the boat. Better luck next time.
April 19
Weather was challenging for our Jurassic trip and we traveled well over fifty miles. Found some lingcod, cabezon and nice rockcod.
April 16
Jurassic today and the fish were hot! Limited out on lingcod then went for big copper, canary, brown, and yellow tail pacific snapper.
April 15
The salmon are still scattered and we hooked into five.
April 13
Water still a little mixed up from the storms but we found some fish to cooperate. A lot of fun and some great catching.
April 14
Headed out with the moms and grade-schoolers today and what a great time! The 8-10 year-olds were busy all morning hooking up fish. Got into some really nice blues, yellow tail, browns and red pacific snapper. Taco night!
April 12
The wind has finally started coming down and we’re ready for some more salmon fishing. Our past few days were for Jurassic Park so we didn’t get to fish salmon and with high winds it’s not possible to fish Jurassic Park so… we stayed at the dock. Couple more days of local potluck then we hit the water again for salmon! We have a few seats left in April on the MEGA-BITE and plenty of seats available on the Salmon Streaker and Raybert.
April 8
Today was supposed to be a Jurassic Park trip but with the good salmon bite going on it was decided to go for salmon. Well, the bait signs seemed to have moved away and the fish were scattered. We hooked into four salmon within the first hour and got two in the boat. The group then decided to make a run up the coast to Deep Reef. By the time we got there the wind was already up and the fishing was pretty slow but found some big yellowtail, canary and brown pacific snapper. The guys worked real hard and put in a good effort today.
April 7
Crushed it. Today was our first salmon trip for 2019 and it did not disappoint. We found some bait and birds and worked it all day and found some fish. Lots of fish. We hooked into 17 fish, let one short one go, three came off at the boat and the good news is… we brought home six limits plus crew fish for a total of 13 NICE salmon in the box! Yep, MEGA-BITE crushed it.
April 6
Today is the first day of the salmon season and the fish are here and they’re biting!
April 4
Fished the local reefs today and our two groups from Reno did great! Limited out on blue, yellow tail, brown, and red pacific snapper and got to enjoy a whale show too! Blues were as big as three pounds!
April 2
Jurassic was on fire today. Limits of lingcod (let a couple more go back to grow) and big canary and olive pacific snapper. Great day!
April 1
Today is the first day of our 2019 fishing season and we are excited! Should be a banner year for both potluck and salmon fishing.
