It’s been a while since Mother Nature gave us good water conditions to fish and today was on! Awesome day at Jurassic today. The fish were on a good bite! Even found a lingcod. Good water and weather but tomorrow is blown out.
Happy New Year everyone! See you in April when our fishing season reopens.
Happy New Year everyone! See you in April when our fishing season reopens.

November 12
Tuna trip today. After catching our live mackerel ran up to the fingers as far as the 25 line. Then trolled out another 10 miles, then back downhill for another 20 miles. No tuna caught on any of the boats in the tuna grounds. Water temps showing it might be too cold to hold fish. After a long day and 60+ miles of searching, this may have been our last tuna trip for the season.
November 6
Awesome local potluck today with calm seas. Nice lingcod and pacific snapper today.
November 3
Another run out to Deep Reef and found some willing lingcod. Also brought home more canary, brown, and yellowtail pacific snapper. Good day.
November 2
Nice water out at Deep Reef and lots of fish caught. Limits of canary, greenspot, brown, chilipepper, and yellowtail pacific snapper.
October 30
Water was perfect today as we headed out for lingcod and rockfish. We found ’em but not the number we got yesterday. With the storm and swells gone there’s a lot of feed in the water now and the fish have been feeding at night making our catching a challenge.
October 29
Still a bit of a lump on the Jurassic Park grounds with wind but after a couple hours the weather settled down and the fish bite was crazy with the biggest blues yet this year. Great day.
October 28
Still have a bit of a swell in town and it knocked down the nearshore local potluck fishing a bit. Tomorrow we fish offshore and should have better results.
October 16
Our 1st tuna trip of the season and it was epic! Trolled for three hours then hooked up something big. Had the right gear with 24 pounds of drag so the battle only lasted 15-20 minutes. Chris and Brendon from Palo Alto got their bucket list bluefin tuna. Pushed 120 pounds.
October 12
A perfect day for Terry & Tim to celebrate their 30th anniversary. Wind was blowing and it made fishing even more fun. Bigger fish tend to bite better in the wind. Came home with limits of big black and brown pacific snapper and a very happy couple.
September 26
Beautiful day on the water today. Nice whale shows too. Got into some big snapper and a big lingcod. Fun day.
October 15

September 20

Kelly had her personal best lingcod, and Kelly’s caught lots of lingcod from Morro Bay all the way up the coast. Big yellowtail too. Fun trip.
September 19
Tuna update – There has been (reported on websites) a couple bluefin caught this week. I can only confirm one. Over the next couple weeks the water may start getting good for a good shot at tuna. We will start tuna trips October 13th if they’re around.

We had Killer Whales (Orcas) swimming by the boat today. Majestic creatures.
