The weather got big this afternoon and our fearless family took on the challenge without hesitation. The water was bigger than usual this afternoon. “The bigger the water the bigger the fish” and 13 year-old Gabe from Pleasanton proved it when he landed two lingcod at the same time on one hook! A smaller blue lingcod took the first bite then an 18 pound monster ate the blue lingcod! Good job Gabe! The fish were thick and coming over the rail non-stop for brief periods. Ended up with six limits of big olive, blue, black, canary and 13 big vermillion for a total of 62 fish. Awesome.
