The storm has finally moved out and the weather forecast for the next week at least is perfect for fishing and crabbing! We pulled a crab pot yesterday to check the quality and these crabs are BIG! Should be a great crabbing season. On a sad note, Commercial crabbing has been delayed until at least the beginning of December. Our prayers go out to all the commercial crab fishermen and fisherwomen hoping they get the green light to crab by December 1st. In the meantime recreational crabbing (MEGA-BITE is considered a recreation fishing vessel) is open and will remain open for the remainder of the year.
