Salmon was a long shot so we decided to try for local halibut. Went squishing for our live squid and mackerel then headed to the halibut grounds. Slow start but then things picked up pretty good! In addition to hooking a bat ray and a shark, hooked into eight halibut. Had to return two hali’s to grow and a few times we came up with ripped up bait. Wound up taking four nice halibut home.
