Out to the deep again for lingcod and rockcod. Water wasn’t very nice so it was a bumpy day. Got to the lingcod grounds and the mackerel have taken over the area. Mackerel went for miles and the lingcod weren’t interested in what we had to offer so we headed up the coast for rockcod. Found the chili peppers and green spots and a fat red and petrale sole!
October 28

Came in closer to shore and tried for halibut and had two no-show halibut. Great family from Indiana.

Gorgeous day today for our local potluck trip. Our happy family from the Netherlands worked real hard for the fish to bite. Water is still cold so fishing was slow.
